I received the notice of the new release from Snowcovered and downloaded it to test if my issues have been resolved. Thank you for the updated documentation, although some clearer documentation on the implecations of checking the Web Services flag would be appreciated. Knowing you have to have another component installed first is important information.

Unfortunately this release won't execute at all. I initially installed it over my existing 2.8.3 release. No go. The error is "An unhandled exception ('System.InvalidOperationException') occured in DNNKickStart.exe [6360]."

I then removed all the definiations I had, still no go. So I completely uninstalled the product and manually deleted anything remaining in \Program Files\DNNKickStart and reinstalled from scratch. No joy.

I tried the trial which is 2.8.3, but it throws an exception when start loading the program, can you please post a working trial? my windows is XP sp2.
